Why the desktop app
Three things a browser tab can’t do.
A window per client
Open five clients, five windows. Nothing you type in one can land in another's books.
Sign in once
Your sign-in is kept safely by your computer, not by a browser. Sign out and it's gone.
Drag a statement onto it
Drop a bank statement on the window and see what it would do — the matches, the duplicates, the effect. Nothing posts until you say so.
Desktop, web, phone — one set of books.

Start in the browser and install whichever apps you want afterwards — it’s the same Bala either way.
